MLB PrizePicks Predictions Today

Dane Dunning – More Than 15.5 Pitching Outs

The Kansas City Royals have been a great fantasy offense this season, but 15.5 outs is still too low of a number for Dane Dunning. He projects for 16.14 outs tonight in the RotoGrinders projections and has a 70.15% win rate in the MLB Fantasy Pick’em Tool for PrizePicks, the highest on the slate. If he can get past Bobby Witt, Salvador Perez, and Vinnie P a couple of times, he should be able to get to six innings.

Shohei Ohtani – More Than 1.5 Total Bases

It doesn’t make much sense for this pick’em play to be available for the best left-handed hitter in baseball facing a guy who has only struck out 6.1% of lefties this year and only 14.5% dating back to last season. However, that’s the case tonight for Shohei Ohtani against Bryce Elder. Ohtani projects for 2.5 bases in the RotoGrinders projections, but I’m expecting him to knock one out of the park against Elder.

Andrew Abbott – Less Than 16.5 Outs

The Baltimore Orioles receive a massive park upgrade today, going from their home park to Cincinnati. Abbott is a solid pitcher but has a massive fly-ball lean. I expect the Orioles to put up a few homers and get Abbott out of the game before he reaches 16.5 outs. He projects for 14.73 outs tonight in the RotoGrinders projections and has a 68.41% win rate in the MLB Fantasy Pick’em Tool for PrizePicks.
