NBA Player Props Today – Saturday, April 27, 2024

Nikola Jokic Over/Under 8.5 Assists
Jamal Murray Over/Under 24.5 Points
LeBron James Over/Under 26.5 Points

Nikola Jokic Over/Under 8.5 Assists

Other than Game 1, Nikola Jokic hasn’t been particularly aggressive looking to shoot the ball in this series. Jokic had only 16 shot attempts in Game 2 and only 13 shot attempts in Game 3 despite playing 39+ minutes in both contests.

Jokic had 16 potential assists in Game 2 and 15 potential assists in Game 3. Assuming he continues to operate with a pass-first mentality, he should be able to flirt with another triple-double in this spot.

Jamal Murray Over/Under 24.5 Points

Jamal Murray took forever to get going in Game 3 but still managed 22 points in 41 minutes. In three games to begin the playoffs, Murray has attempted 24 shots, 24 shots, and 21 shots. His numbers have not looked spectacular overall, but that has more to do with his lack of efficiency than anything else.

Murray is shooting only 37.7% in this series, but he shot 48.1% from the field during the regular season. A little positive regression to the mean would be more than enough for him to hit the over here.

LeBron James Over/Under 26.5 Points

LeBron James has scored 27 points, 26 points, and 26 points to begin the playoffs this season, but it’s worth wondering how much he has left to give. He enters play on Saturday shooting 56.4% from the field and 41.2% from deep in this opening round – averaging 40.3 minutes per game.

Following Game 3, James was quoted as saying, “It’s just basketball,” when talking about the team’s seemingly insurmountable deficit. In contrast to last year’s heroic effort in Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals, James and the Lakers are nowhere close to the promised land right now. They are facing a highly improbable road to winning a series, let alone a championship.

We might not get James’ best game tonight against the Nuggets.
