PGA DFS Showdown Picks and Projections – Round 3
Harbour Town has historically been a fairly difficult golf course, but it doesn’t stand much of a chance against this field. The Signature Event status has brought most of the world’s best to Hilton Head, and the weather has not been very cooperative (at least for the difficulty of the course). We’ve had little to no wind in the first two rounds of the event, and we’ve seen some extremely good scores. There are already seven golfers under par and only nine golfers over par. I was hoping for some more difficult conditions on the weekend, but Saturday should be as tranquil as the first two days. My only note when it comes to player selection is that there are a lot of golfers leaning heavily on their putter. I’m going to be looking for golfers who have struck the ball well in the first two rounds.
